My three year old loves the birds. He has birds he call his and they always seem to be better that the ones he sayes are mine. He knowes them better than I do. ;D
I wish more people in America would build small back yard lofts and build them as nice as these. It would really help our sport. I see alot of lofts that are eyesores and people will remember one ugly pegion loft over ten nice ones. :-/
Great photo. I love to watch the white birds fly. I have about 80 in two different lofts.I always let them out at the same time. What a site to see. Good luck with you wedding business. Mine really slowed down the last year or so proabily because I don't but as much effort into getting jobes anymore. I race my whites and the guyes at the club used to make fun calling them hawk bait and different things but they shut up after a few time getting beat by them.Mine are not great birds but good enouth to win a race or two mow and then. Good luck.
Thanks Samantha . Ihave used the white birds for everything. Sprint races and up 500 miles. I also do a weding every now and then. They do fairley well at all distances but are best around 200 miles.
Hi all looks like everything is going great on the fourm.. Good to hear from everyone. I hate not being able to get on here much but I have a little more time with my boy and my birds with the new Job.. Good luck everybody and have a great flying year.
I have a young pair that I left on eggs to long. Both hatched and they have done a great job raising the two babies, even though they have been stressed with babies the two of them are always the first ones home from the training tosses.
I have trained in all directions. I can't afford the gas to go in the line of flight so I take them where ever I go. Sometimes two or three short tosses a day. I don't know if this is the right way or not but sometimes you have to do what you have to.
