yes i would i sent one of my cocks every single week till i retired him he won a 500 mile race and went back after a weeks rest to 420 mile , if you can turn them round and get them recovered quickly and fit again before they go you'l have no problem

they arent know for there homing instincts , but i knew a guy when i was younger that had tippler crossed racers and he used to sell them you could never settle them and always went back but id imagine if took it racing it wouldnt keep up and would get lost

pretty much same as me my great uncle and my cousin once removed both raced and my great uncle kept fancy birds werent allowed in to the loft till i was 4 i was facinated by the colours i think still am lol
