  14. Ballance of nature during the last few weeks i have seen a large increase in aphids hover flies and butterflies , why are these so many ? well the reason is these insect lava burrow into the grown and small birds such as tits ectra eat them reducing there numbers , this is the reason for them to be in large abundant numbers . Farmers naturaly rely on small birds to remove such aphids, moths and butterflies also the gardeners friend removing slugs and snails . The next step will be the farmers will have to resort to using more pesticides which will in turn reduce the small birds further and threaten bops with poisoning , when man tampers with his enviroment the ballance of nature gets upset we need to seriously restore the balance of nature there are simply too many preditors and not enough food and this needs to be restored before we loose important wildlife forever , all wildlife is a part of a very important eco system once gone the knock on effect upsets the ballance of nature one animal / insect / bird group effects all overs . As most of these folk say the bops arent making a great deal of damages wheres your proof whats the numbers ? well one its impossible to count the devistation on a national scale but they can look out there window and do there own count , theres no blue tits no wrens and not many of the once common garden birds left , the goverment needs to act now before its too late .
  15. well done Jimmy

  18. Well done
  19. welcome to pigeon basics , i hope you get your bird back
  20. dont give up mate fight back have been hit a few times myself 2 ybs in loft that wont be racing and doubt they'll be last to go , it seems like your waisting your time rearing feeding training and all that effort gets undone by these bops , but the hole that pigeons leave when you give up is vast if its in your blood it never goes
  21. well done both of you
  22. charcoal is not a binding substance more of a natural absorber , they use charcoal when pumping human stomachs out after an overdose . For yb sickness i use garden lime , cinemon and root ginger and 4 carrots and garlic and keep topping up for 7 days and no feeding for first 24 hours then feeding light with natural yoghurt and brewers yeast and building up gradualy to heavier corn to get the weight back on the birds , clay pickstones also quite valuable during these times and when birds may have been fielding
  23. well done
  24. i never let ybs out on a saturday unless there racing , and no good training on a Saturday as there be a lot of lost birds that could take your birds wandering
  25. happy birthday Jimmy Bulger , hope you have a great day
