hi, the only time i ever get um reported is when there dead, my of my best breedin hens was lost ina young bird channel race 2002 an she didnt return tilll 2005 so me thinks some one add been getting her right so the could liberate her so she could return took them a very long time, lol. thanks tho to who ever it was.........

id bring the system closer to be on the safe side, my mate put his on sunday gone

till the 1st sunday in june, i do normaly use the 9-5 system but alot of people round here by me do 10-6. the system is 16hrs of dark but u can change the open an darking time to suit your self an the time you can be there with them

always put my young birds on the dark 1st sunday in march, this year when i part them they will go straight onto the dark. an i find i always have a few that will drop flights but the biggest majority dont. altho i hate the dark system, when you puy um on it thats when the problems start, but if you dont do it you cant realy compete the whole of the young bird season.

i tried raceing hens on widowhood, they wernt that good tho. foloowing year i put sum of the same hens on the dual widowhood an they raced realy well an sum of them won
