If you pick out the birds that come to hand then whats wrong with the rest? Would you send them to a race if they didn't come to hand and had no reason to be down on body weight?
A good show bird as with a good racer needs a good constitution and with a good ballanced diet will hold a good body weight! If it doesn't have a natural good body then the birds constitution isn't right and cull them just keeping those that are right!
Welcome Russel, You were doing fine with the birds and the allotment when I came over with Roger! (I was the one with the baby that herassed your nan) As you know we are not far away and if you need anything just give either myself or Roger a ring. Look forward to seeing you at the shows. Phil
There must be some data stored on the ring and sure it wouldn't be difficult to create the software to read it! Wouldn't it be good if an ets bird came in and you scanned it on your pad it would tell you who the owner was to be able to report it?
I've just got back from along the M4 and it was raining from Leigh services to Bridgend and then again in Swansea, some heavy downpours. Chepstow area completley closed in, think there will be a lot of empty perches!
