put it away from your sick bird or you may infect that as well and if it then returns home I'm sure the owner will be over the moon!

its prob sick and you need to isolate it and find out via a vet what is wrong with it so you can treat it and prob the rest as well!

take your birds and toss them from the new loft location a few times, when you move them keep them hungry for a couple of days a let them out, make sure the old loft is closed up, when they can't get in they will return to the new loft. Back in '95 I moved loft and birds 3 miles on the Saturday, let the birds out at new location on the monday, sent to midweek on the Tues and took 3rd club on the Weds. Only had to go back to old garden to try and catch 1 bird, missed it, ended up with a handfull of tail feather, went home to find the bird sat back in the loft!

No different to birds purchased from Louella, even mature youngsters, very very few ever settle, I put it down to having lost there homeing instinct being bred generations from performance pigeons!

youngbirds should be let out the first few times hungry so they can be called in when required, any slow of the mark coming in don't get fed, after a while they know exactly what to do when you call them and they will trap hungry or not when called. Yb's may drop on the roof first couple of times in the air but after that they should never go on the house roof as thats the first place they will go on race day, any persistant offenders put in the bin.

The biggest problem seems dehydration. Are they getting water? I asume the trailer has a corridor drinking system running the length of the trailer so would have to be perfectly level for all to get water. Also as has been said above is the temp being monitored, are the birds being kept in cold/cool conditions then as they are released, bang straight into heat? I'm not in this fed/combine but it seems strange others aren't suffering similar problems so it needs a full investigation for the birds and members alike.

there is a web site, something like "loadup", that you can post transport needs on and any company's covering that route will contact you. The loft will need to be dissmantled and prob help to load!

ferrel somebody has caught. Is it wild when you try to catch it?
