i for one can speak from experiance as to the bop prob. i live on the main road in the town centre of kirkby and i have not had my stock birds out since july 2008 because i was getting hit every day. i had a visitor here on wednesday a member off this site he came to see the stock birds and set up and he handled the only 12 birds i have left including the survivors of raptor attacks. am sure he is of the same oppinion as the majority of us ie:summit needs doing now not later. and fk the do gooders

but if we go with the flow and be politicaly correct we will get no where as the unions of the uk have proved. if we are to make a differance and get our self's heard then we have to be aggresive and to hell with political correctness and dont be affraid of upsetting anyone as that is how they thrive. jmo

i think you as a mod should moderate and put it up where all can see it so we can gain a bit of extra support.(as its in all our interests ) and this is not a stab at the mods, i just think its in the wrong place if we wish to bring people on board.

just a question for the mods and owners of this site. why is the POB thead in the members only section as its on here to gain support for the preservation of our sport. if the visitors to this site cant access it how are they going to know if to support us or not. ? jimmy

been sitting here reading the post's put up and nowt has changed , we as fanciers tend to fick things up with our own dirrerent oppinions of what this should stand for etc, etc. 1st and formost this endeavour is to preserve our sport (LETS NOT LOOSE SIGHT OF THIS ) the aims of this is to bring to the attention of the public the full picture ie: the pigeon fancier fratenity of this country has for decades raised and donated vast ammounts of money to worthy causes and charitys.(we can't do this if the raptors decimate our membership ) i think there should be only 2 objectives in this 1,protect our sport. and 2,get our sport recognised as a sport. other than that dont even bother because to have two many goals to aim for this early ie:( lets walk before we run ) would be detrimental to us all. this is just my opinion and if we can't all sing from the same hymm sheet then we are ficked. if anyone is offended by my opinion i could not give a fick take up skate boarding. jimmy

i think if you are going to have a sale to help fund this then why not make it a big sale at BLACKPOOL the media would already be there and you have 6 months or more to plan it and get gift birds. also gives time to get delegates picked and sort out a strategy. jimmy

ask council for a copy of their policy on racing pigeons then read it all. if they dont have a policy on racing pigeons then you will be able to fight it probably. jimmy

you have my support 100% and i think the members on here should all get behind you, then when members of other sites see this is not just wind and p*ss they also will probly come on board.
