i personally have followed ur tread... ye know! know how much ye love something or someone sometimes it's best to let things go..... your health is your wealth an it's clear that the birds are not good for billy.... maybe it mite a good idea for billy to go as a silient partner!!! ur hands on and knowledge and he's experience an knowlodge.... who knows wot may happen!!! i remember my dad having pigeon lung an believe me it's not nice to see a man go down hill!!! him coughing at all hours of the nite etc but it aint pretty.... i know billy has pigeon lung he's best out of the game for health reasons... believe you me :B :B and i miss my dad everyday

to me a bird that would fly 5 to 7 hours into a head wind is as good as flying 12 to 13 hours in a helping wind(blow home) depends alot on the day... but in my opinion a good bird needs heart in a good steady race may it be 5 or 10 or 12 hours on the wing.... end of.... p.s. just my opinion... as lenard tar would say "enjoy" he he ha ha hu hu ho ho

i actually went over to him today.... couldn't get a chance before.... but to me the hens are as healthy as any of me own or anyone elses at that matter, to me an again it's only my opinion but to me they were on the wrong diet, i told the lad in question to "cut" them down on the grub and maybe feed them barley!!!!! this he done ive been on the fone nearly everyday to him so he told me that they were losing loads.... so as i said i took a visit to him an as woz expected the hens were and are still over weight but i have know doubt that this lad will get it sorted an that the hens will lay no probs once they loose the weight.... will keep yez posted thanks for the replies lads/ladies

removing grit/minerals while treating for canker??
DUBLINFLYER replied to DJ's topic in Products & Medication
debbie i believe that you are suppose to remove grit/mnerals when treating for respiratory!!!!! never heard of removing it for canker treatment............... now in saying that it wouldn't do any harm to remove it whilst treating them for canker but it is a MUST while treating for respiratory an this is a FACT....... REGARDS GER -

yes but is it not fair to say that some "nationals" have rules to say that when competing that you must be measured over a certain distance so to make it a fair race.... i.e. you could not compete if a fancier who flies a distance of say 280miles compared to a fancier that is only measured 60miles to me this would be deemed to be unfair an this is why we need rules an regulations so it just wouldnt be visible to join a "national" of this sort! certainly i wouldnt join it : :-/
