Hi, yes i have hear of BUSSCHEARTS but as i said before i could not list all strains, i dont think that the busshearts pure are able to cope with todays type of racing. i know people who have crossed the busshearts which has resulted in better birds. The janssen strain has stood the test of time, many fanciers now are tyring to better this strain by crossing them this is wokring in some cases but the strain does not last very long before another is created better. where as the pure janssens have stood the test of time. The following fanciers i beleive have been the making of the pigeon sport Belgium & Holland - Janssen Arendonk, De Klak (built on the Janssen strain), Van loon, and Meulemans, Long distance strain M.Van Geel (Jan arden strain) The Janssen strain was the basis of the de klak strain where has the de klaks produced many winners jos van limpt de klak and janssen bros kept swapping birds toproduce further superstars many top names was produced from these two strains De Blauw 613, Blauwe Doffer, Mooie, Gooie, Merckx, Jonge Merckx, Janssen 019, Janssen 045, Chantilley, Showuman, Verbart 46 , verbart 55, De Generral, Jonge Generral, Bartoli, Goede Jaarling, De knook, Marietje, Witoger, DE 25, Blauw 23 duif, Racket, Racketman, De Bomber, Didi, Witenpenke. note some of these have been raced by other fanciers but are bred from direct de klak / janssen

Our best long Distance birds haev been De Klak Crossed with G & M Gilbert Pigeons (Mainly from C g cooper & E.Deweerdt etc) I Think the de klak side puts that little extra speed in to the birds we have done well with cross winning: 1st & 10th National (BICC) Pau only bird in Great Britain on the day 4th National FC Dax 7th National Tarbes Winning The Slade Shield The E.G.L. Cox Memorial Trophy The R.W. Beard Memorial Trophy The A.W. Murray Memorial Trophy 8th Young bird National FC 2nd Hens International Dax 33rd Hens International Pau 23rd International Dax 17,526 birds 1st Federation Bergerac 192 Members sending 1,053 Birds 7th National this year and thats just a few results

Please note the comments below are my opinion only *** In my opinion the sport is dying becasue there is not enough been done to amke the sport more attractive to new starters first of all there is the common steriotype pigeon fancier i think if the sport was more up to date e.g using ETS and changes made to the racing structure may be more young fancier facilitys etc this would get more fanciers in. in holland and belgium there are far more young fanciers starting up and most have the ETS system this proves its not all that expensive its just the fanciers which dont like change holding the system from comming in to the uk. The sport needs a huge "Upgrade" More Advertsiment make it more appealing to new commers, i know many have said to me the introduction of the internet has helped make the pigeon sport more widley recognised. we should not be using ETS, working out results by hand etc the sport should move with times, i know in our club we have introduced a new young fancier he started by helping doing the result on the computer which most fanciers could not cope with so he helped with that he has now started racing. but it does not help when young fanciers help the sport work hard for clubs etc when the "exisisting fanciers" always moan about what their doing etc or finding faults when they cant do it themselves. Why do fanciers always complain about fanciers sending 100's of birds all they are doing is helping support the sport by putting money in to clubs etc you can always beat them, i have sent between 1 and 10 birds many times and beat many fanciers sending lots of birds. we need some good birdage races in uk to many clubs racing 42 birds etc this is not a race ! whats going no there should be more bigger races with 10,000 birds + thats the best racing

Hi, the Koopman birds are very good but like all familys of birds you need to get hold of the very best otherwise you are not going to get very far with them, i have had koopman birds before not done a thing with them but then once i gave them to a friend he could not stop winning with them he won every club average and race in his 1st yb season. but i think it was the way i was racing them we race with long distance in mind but these are not the correct birds for this type of racing.

These two auctions are both pigeon basic auctions and are both contributing towards the improvment and upgrade and promotion of pigeon basics.
-
NO date set as of yet for funds auction , january auction from 1st - 15th january also sellers will be making donations from sales made here this will also attract many new visitors hopefully
