i Have requested a membership form from the rpra but is that not for racing pigeons only my birds are tippler/tumbler type

i have some large rabbit hutches that are unused due to not breeding them any more would they be sutable until i pick the loft i have been given of a chap on this site

when they lay again i dont want more chicks as my loft is only small and i have another 2 pair on eggs i have got some dummy eggs do i replace the eggs with these as soon as they are laid sorry to be a pain What shall i do as i dont have enough room for a second bowl in the boxes

ok i will get these i have also got another question in and around the nest bowl there is alot of poo i have scraped it away from round them but what about in the bowl i have had my birds for 5 months but i am still learning and your advice is much appreciated

about an ounce a bird what vits and minerals should i feed them the corn is maize, peas and a grain

My first round of young well my 2 chicks are now a week old and i have noticed that 1 chick is somewhat larger the the other as these are my 1st ever set of young i am quite worried about this smaller chick any advice

My birds are not racers will this make a difference they are mixed tumbler tipplers which i was given do i have to have pure bred pigeons as i am new to this and when i get a larger loft i will be looking into racing and showing them but i just want to be able to have them rung now when i rear young

This may be an odd 1 i do not want to race os show my birds but i would like to have rings on them with the year they were born any idea how i can do this with closed rings or is it not possible with out joining a club

Loft or shed wanted in good condition cheap or free if possible yes cheeky i know i have birds in my brick shed but i now want a loft as my son's are showing great interest in the hobby i dont race and am not in any clubs just enjoy watching the bird's flying around and the boys watch them in the loft we have just hatched out our 1st eggs we only have 2 pairs now as the space they are in i was told wasn't big enough for many more than that Any help thanx

hi pete yes i really apreciated the bids from you but them never laid and when they did they abandoned them they would sit for a 10-14 days then leave them they also never acctually settled in pairs there was alot of wife swapping going on so i was advised to move them on and get some young birds and start again i have kept 4 birds

Hi every1 i am pretty new to the pigeon world after thining out my birds due to alot of them being older birds i was given not coming in to my loft for days on end so i am now looking for 4 young birds preferably rollers, tumblers or tipplers i am not in a club i am just interested in the birds and me and my sons as a hobby i can pay a small price and can pick in manchester area please We would be most greatfull

Hi i have 6 pigeons not for racing just as a hobby and i have noticed that 1 of my cocks is tredding 2 hens what does this mean as i thought i had 3 pairs but it seems i have 1 pair 1 threesome and a loner how will they rear young if both hens lay

hi can any1 help me i have a pair of tumblers just laid and they are not incubating the egg's the second egg was laid wednesday night does that mean these eggs are infertile or will they incubate later they also have flown the loft with the eggs in nest as this is my first experience of this i am looking for some advice any1 help !!!

hi every1 how can i pair my birds up only they have decided to pair up themselves with different breeds of pigeon i have 2 tumbler/fantail pairs 2 roller/tumbler pairs and 2 tumbler/tumbler pairs and i still cant tell cock from hen so how do i seperate them any advice cheers -

hi my birds are on the roof they normally come in about 4 its late and dark now and they wont come onto the loft i am worried that they might not come back in will they be ok if they stay out for the night any1 help
