I got my rings second hand with my clock and some were assigned it took seconds for the secretary to re-assign to my birds so sure it can be like that for anyone. Thinks its a crying shame and if i knew of anyone pinching rings im with you Alan i would report them and take my chances

I dont think people take them off to use on their own birds i think they take them off out of spite and jealousy

I have put could cut down a little - im nearly where i want to be but have had to make some tough decisions to get there - I have plenty of loft space and no overcrowding but i base my answer on what i feel comfortable managing.

lol The birds were offered free due to age and lack of pedigree - its a big thing nowdays - i consider them to be better than any of them show racer crosses you own with your partner. ps i handled them crosses i would advise people to take a dna test on there young as with the age of them pigeons i have no doubt they will be the same as the ones you sold and fail to fill an egg
