  5. SPCA will arrange for the birds to be looked after and released back into the wild when ready - It proves that pigeon fanciers do care. Well done
  6. I have quite a few that I purchased from Vallance but have crossed them with Wildemeersch,Theelen & Jan Aarden lovely birds and if I get a few winners at 300/400 miles I will be more than happy. One of Frank's Imbrechts (I think) flew well in the RPRA yearling OLR. I will continue to look for a cross for the yearlings this year after all Germaine flew some cracking pigeons, but then again I am not him but "live in HOPE"

If my memory serves me right was there not a time when the NEHU were not recognised by the RPRA I think the issue was resolved not so many years ago so - Never say Never

    SNFC /RPRA

This might sound naive but could we not have an amnesty (we do for most everything else)where both organisations could sit down and discuss the problems that are outstanding with the members of the governing bodies(SHU & RPRA) in attendance chaired by an independent IHU ,NWHU or WHU. They could try to get a resolve and let us get on with what we do best - "FLYING PIGEONS" I do not have a foot in any camp but will join one next year.
  17. Good birds old or young are a bonus for any loft - Best of luck

  21. I don't know the full facts but will find out at the AGM I think our club arranged 3 tosses for a £10 last season never used it myself but it seemed value for money this was arranged additional to normal Fed tosses. It just seems a shame that everything keeps going up and when there is a reduction in say fuel costs never really gets passed back but I suppose they will say it's in-case it goes back up although in all honesty it has come down from £140/barrel to £64+ - it's like the new potato (chips) syndrome always go up when available but never come back down (£1.20/£1.40) bag of chips Sorry diversified quite a bit. I will be happy just to be able to fly pigeons as long as i can afford to
  22. Our Fed put up the charge per basket/panier for young bird racing on the transporter because of the increase in fuel charges. It is being banded about that they will be asking members to pay £100.00 per season including Fed fees no matter how many birds you send old & young don't know how it will go regarding Combine & National races might be a good idea but would definately suit large fliers if there are any left.
