whats your veiws on racing and training to ybs in the nest ? how much is taken out of the pigeons whilst rearing is it a good thing for motivation or negative thing for using up all energy in old birds

leading up to racing season of ybs im pretty sure most members flyers will treat there ybs agaist cocci / canker/resp ect as there will be alot of stress brought on leading up to the season with darkness systems training etc

i like to start my system 29th march this way you can be sure that all ybs are eating well perching and drinking its just that my early bred ybs have been moved 5 wks now and their heads are getting new pin feathers pushing through and dont want them to throw any flights before they go on the system will i be ok leaving them till the end of this month or should i bring the system in closer ? thankyou jason

how long do you darken your yb team for and will you be using 5pm to 9am hrs of dark like me jason

Just looking for a bit of information on the darkness system ill be putting my ybs on darkness 29th march but have noticed some of my older ybs already started to moult around the head will this effect the ybs when they go on the dark on the 29th march ie will they drop any flight before they go on the system cheers jason

these ybs will be taking part in the yb challenge this season so fingers crossed some fantastic ybs entering this yr so it will be a good challenge jason

if they would have been ready 2 wks early i would have had them myself
