theres great fanciers all over scotland, no matter wat corner they where flying they would still come to the fore ,there location would certainely determine there national results but never there club or fed ?

east winds are very bad for all ,becouse they often are backed with cold fronts detrimentle to all birds no matter way you stay,but no excuse for inferior birds

go to someone local with history of channel racing befriend them and listen ,these bird are never sold or given away only freindship and trust will allow you be trusted to be gifted with birds of this quality ,even then you will have a long way to become a regular distance fancier, knowledge is power. best o luck

there seems to be different views on every corner,the truth will always be the only answer ,every loft must be proud of there good birds ,easily defined by there results we have all got the common bug of keeping our little feather freinds often overlooked by our selfish ways,every decent fancier strives to master our art some luckier than others we have all obligated to respect each other no matter wat road we take breeding champions can be an art or luck ,thats all we need good birds not money facts or lies ,without people veiws we are empty,keep it coming ,we all must talk!

the difference will be massive ,if it wer to go with ayrshire you would be liberated with aprox 100 odd bird as average last few years from the last old bird race,and 10% of the original convoy of y birds at early racing trust me this is generous.such is the hard route these bird endure ,snfc convoying of ayrshire birds has been the most uplifting shot in the arm our fed has had ,for a very long time,sadly the majority vote takes precidence over the small minority of great fanciers in our fed that command brilliant performances in our undisputated ,tough fed route ,snfc numbers matter there cover on race days are benefical to our small no great national birds that can perform at this level,least we forget the great fanciers behind them!

if lanarkshire birds are dragged into ayrshire, no matter wat distance ,the origin of these birds would need to be questioned ,ybirds get raced so that we try to sort out the wheat from the chaff,old birds should never be tolerated if they dont make the mark they are better flying off to ireland !!

due to very dissapointed snfc fanciers ,ayrshire will be trying to tie in with snfc, great news !! common sense always prevails :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

a decision will never be better than the reaity of the truth ,something we all do in a regular basis , with hind sight we went with national to show we could compete sometimes the majority can also be the minorty when the decision was made in ignorance to the benefit of the birds ,we learn every day, hope am wrong !!

ayrshire fed has decided with 70 odd new membership from other feds,to go down west route,sadly they have gave up piggy backing with snfc ,hopefully there will be ok going apart ,national prizes will suffer dramatically ,good birds will be denied there place in national history!!

alternative! why would anybody want to watch another fancier race his bird ?this still does not answer the question?the art of pigeon racing was deemed to be left in the hands o the fancier ?

just cant get it at all? why would any fancier want to give a bird to a complete stranger to race when the art of pigeon racing lies in the hand o the fanciers ability to condition his bird to beat the masses?
