  12. why do we have to put up with all the in house hostilities of both clubs ,can we not just start again and put all these arguments to sleep ,lets all be true gentlemen and blame ourselves, and move on with a more positive attitude, lets make national racing something for us all to be proud of,remember we just get one chance at this!

    Winter Racing

thanks all for your thoughts, not all were sympathetic to my situation but will bear in mind that BIN means ive wasted a full years breeding can this be true? any way will have to try and make some own time next season ta again rikki,
  15. not having time to train and race y birds this season, and bearing the thought of hanging on to untried birds would love to play catch up with all the other trainers and racers in my area ,is there a call for some Winter trainng or RACING would appreciate all your thoughts on this one ,ta
  16. do not mock this advise, this type of training has been going on and successfull, for a long time with a very great deal of great fanciers, one of the biggest causes of losses in ybird s lack of confidence!
  17. has anybody found out the snfc cleremont sections birdage?
  18. we are very aware that not all ybs will make the grade ,but trying a little bit of single ups seem to be in my book a step in the right direction to proper sckooling,i do believe that more of this type of training was used our losses would be far less!
  19. i do think the building of the confidene of the bird plays a major roll in the making of the birds ability to home ,sometimes sadly over;looked when we all have rely on numbers to time on a weekly basis, where often or not the bird timed can be lost the week after!
  20. exactly what i am trying to say !
  21. last couple of seasons my racing has been curtailed with business commitments, never to be left outof this great sport of ours i decided to breed afew ybs 2009 and select 1 yb to train and race a doddle ,any where i went it came to as far as50 miles on its own raced it to 120 mls, as it was not good in wing decide to stop it, this season it was raced most weeks ,it was my sole entry to the marlbourgh race snfc and duly returned winning region and national prize and being 1st yearling club level, could this be the way forward for beating percy!i have in my club members who race and breed upto 100 ybs and failed to time at this race!
