SUMMER DREAMER
Lazing around on a lonely cloud,
Far from the world the noisy crowd,
Counting sunbeams in the sky,
As I watch the birds play and fly.
Turning lazily I watch the veiw,
Lots of people milling about the dew,
The bouncing lambs out in the meadow,
Today I'm a really happy fellow.
Summer days I enjoy the pleasure,
Long the memories I'll always treasure,
Far below is such a beautiful scene,
The swan sailing bye so serene.
If I could live a million years,
Forgetting all those lonesome tears,
I will remember for all my days,
This picture in the summer haze.
I guess I'm just a summer dreamer,
As I watch the ferry paddle steamer,
Sail from ashore on another mission,
On a summers day what a heavenly vision.
Summer dreaming all day long,
Everyone happy it can't be wrong,
Sitting lonely on a cloud,
Feeling happy and oh so proud.
