  1. You'll be allright for coal then, our next door neighbours got coal also. ;D
  2. We're gas central heated too but where i used to live had a coal fire, and I loved it. well sometimes. so I know where there is still a coal merchants. ;D ;D ;D
  3. Go along to a coal merchants and i'm sure he will be more than happy to give you coal dust for nowt. ;D then ye'll have happy doos. ;D
  4. We never stop ours from picking the ground either, because as you say no matter what you do, you will never stop it anyway.

  22. I never knew to move the minerals and grit out when treating, does that mean we've waisted oor time in treating them and do we have to do it all again?
  23. Aye oor birds go daft for the black minerals,we cannae keep them going on it, should we have a limit as to the amount o minerals that we give them? or do we give them an unlimited supply of it.
  24. Does anyone know, is there a certain amount of salt in the minerals we feed them? ;D
  25. We usually keep ours in for at least 3 to 4 weeks, also like to get them out into avairy during that period to let them see all around them. When we break birds into a dovecote, we also keep them in for 3 to 4 weeks but we cage or net the dovecots so as they can go in and out it and see all around them.
