Cider vinegar in the water helps to stop the drinkers freezing but not on the extremely cold nights, I just empty mine, have a spare set or put them on a high shelve in the loft

I plan to show some of my racers and I have bought and acquired two show pens to get the birds use to them :-/ 50p a pen, a bonus if you win or at least try to win and if not just enjoy the day out and a chat with the winners will help you next time maybe

I totally agree Frank, dogs have to live around the the loft 24/7 and the deterrents only work on certain cats. We bought an electric fence unit but could not work out how to get it past the gate or open it with getting a buzz ourselves. We have now worked it out and will be installing it all shortly
