i didnt mean to sound bad, i try and get evey stray tossed as near to home as i can,it seamed to be an excuse with a lot of people "im an old age pensioner""iv finished with the birds"and all the rest of the excuses if it was local to me i would pick the bird up.what amazes me is how come amtrak charge 30 quid yet we can get them picked up any where in scotland for£12.50 so sorry if i sounded off
surley if he cant afford to pat £30 he shouldnt be racing, what happrns if he gets more than 1 reported? we all can say "i cant afford to send for them"
mine start at 8 mile 3or 4 times then 20 mile then 30 then 40 then 60 if they do each toss ok then i move them onto the next stage if they make a mistake they stop at that stage.once the first race(113 mile) they get 2 30 mile a week we race our ybs to 330 mile so they have to be well schooled.this works for me i have won the scottish national (2005)and had 8 in the top 100 last year(6th upto 100)
the section winners are on the snfc web site well done andrew lees, colin crees and brian kelly for coming 1st 2nd and 3rd open.also the rest who timed in
you would say differnt things if you have seen a spanial at a pheasant shoot with all it tail bleedind through going through rough cover, also a terrier down in fox earths turn better with no tail.i dont agree with docking in show/pet homes but sertain breeds are a must when working
