Hi Chris I will stick to what i can do best getting people to work together.Try to bridge the gap between the split we have at the moment in scotland and try and get all pigeon flyers in scotland working together again.Im sure you will wish me well with this task.I will also try and keep winning with my pigeons thank you for this point. Ive told you a million times chris not to exagerate how many friends you have.However you are right in that tony blair is short of friends at thr moment. Andy Miller is a very good friend and we talk a lot about how to race pigeons.With this in mind i am well aware of Andy Miller and what he can achieve with his pigeons.This would be from the first race to the last ??? where does he get some of his idears ??? i wonder ??? Chris a final note before you go of the edge.Lighten up a LITTLE its only a joke between Andy and myself remember its a hobby enjoy it to the full and you might end up with two million mates. I agree with you all who want the members to decide who should be in office at the shu but at this point thats not how it works.It is like a lot of other things at the moment our rule book is a little out of tuch with the members who want to fly their pigeons under the shu rule book.It may be better to elect the president and the rest of the top table at the agm where all the members can come along and express their views.Another point would be to notice that feds with 20 members get the same vote as a fed with 199 members is that right or need looked into.In my mind we need to have a total rethink on the hole shu and you the members need to now how it all works the current rules etc.Lets hope that the every day member who just wants to race pigeons in scotland wins the day and we can all go forward together.As we go into the next 100years of the shu lets all look towork together for the benifit of the members and our future members.

Hi Tam First of all you are not on the phone to joe murphy with capitals you are shouting no need to shout on the phone or on your posts not a good example for your feds pro to carry out.I was under the impresion that you were the pro for lf not the president or the secretary.If lf are not happy with anything in the bhw that has been written by a scribe then the president or secretary will i am sure deal with this on behalf of the members or better still bring this up at a delegates meeting to get the views of the members.So can i ask you when you go calling scribes and printing letters in the bhw have you got the full backing of the membership and is this the way that lf pro should be conducting himself not a very good example to give out and most important of allnot good pro for lf.I will leave it at that i will now go and and get on with getting my pigeons paired up for 2007.I wish you well with your pro job for your fed for 2007 but always remember vince is the daddy.

I would just like to reply to one or two points made in the hope that it helps clear them up. 1.The rev sam did try to get all of scotland to go together in years gone by but in these days most feds were big enough to go to all races on theirt own at that point the shu had around 15,000 members the total for season 2007 is around3,100 you can then see by the figures why the only way forward for us all is to work together. 2.I made a point regarding all in scotland going together.The point is that most fanciers just want to race pigeons and we in scotland who have pigeons as a hobby must try and work together.I read in the local paper this week that two local clubs are looking for premises as club huts when their is already a club hut in their local town.The problem one is shu the other rpra lets start and get our heads together this just cant keep going on.Everyone has made their pionts but the truth is the real fanciers all now we all need to work together both to survive and with any hope of going forwars.We will celebrate 100 years of the shu this year which is good BUT lets look at the next 100 years by leaving all the bagage of the last 100years in the past and all look at the future together.H ow do we do this start by talking like adults and not just trying to score brownie pionts against each other no point. 3.The snfc council meeting is this sunday until then or after the transport situation will not be clear.I can however say that i for one want to use transporters from feds in scotland such as asking fife midlothian midland and lanarkshire if their transporters are available to hire.This in turn would mean federations would in turn get the hire fee for their federation this again all working together to help each other out. 4.The point regarding the drag of the pigeons as we all now pigeons is not a fare sport and that their will always be an advantage to someone thats just life be it time,stock,money,location i could go on and on.The two pionts i would say however is 1.IF lanarkshire go with the snfc to maidstone with their 1,200 pigeons along with midlands,northwest,central,west of scotland i can tell you that their will be as many pigeons from the centre of the country going west this with the piont that its an old bird race from arond 370 miles will help the pigeons centre to west.2.point if my pigeon makes a mistake and goes of line i would expect it to sort its self out and get home if it cant is it worth a perch in the loft got to be crual to be kind. 5.Last but not least lets not start saying things like the snfc want lanarkshire more than the other way around.The snfc have a race from maidston this year for all members who wish to go.That is with or without federations it is hoped that ALL feds will take up the offer if not well all the best with your race.I would however at least like to give it a try this year with all feds and lets see how it goes then lookat it at the end of the seaosn was it better or worse we can only try.we can all change our minds.

looks like federations are getting their act together and for everyones benifit the feds are going with the snfc good and for the one or two who have still to decide i am sure that the members who are in these feds will do the best for all concerned.lots of birds up together good saveings for the federation members good for the snfc race control team east to west r.combe,s.gibson,j.hannah this means all area of the country got an imput.you never now in the near future all pigeons in scotland may be going together again now would that be progress or what no just commen sense.
