Looking to get some young sprinters, usually distance, what is the general concensous about the best breed of sprint birds and are there any contacts for young birds other than the likes of louella

When is the first race for young birds and how much training flights should they get prior to the race? Well done to the birds, wet today all over, i was working in Lanark today and it was chucking it down. Wasnt much better later in Airdrie.

Sorry i am not trying to be choosy, it was more curiosity actually as my daughter saw some white pigeons at her grans. They are very nice birds.

I cant help noticing that a lot of trainers are losing thier birds, a lot of birds, why is this? I assume a lot of the trainers are experianced, so what advice would you give me, no birds yet, on how to minimise the loss of birds? Thanks

Trapping, i will need to get advice on that, i hope to get tips when i visit some lofts. My loft is going to be small and neat to start i will pace myself with small digs and a small team i want to make sure i get it right first

I will wait a few days before posting pics it looks a bit shabby but it is shaping up, all the plans are in my head and will work when i get the rest of the material together

I am hoping to get late breads in mid August, what is your recomendations for feeding and drinking. Various different methods what do you all think is the best? What if anything should be put in the birds water, i have heard of oxo cubes to sugar?
