how did you get the old paint of the loft back to wood

thanks for all the replys guys

were i live there is a very tall house two doors down from me and as soon as i let my young birds out they come strait from the loft to that roof and dont move until i call them back in they used to come out the loft do 45min then drop on that roof and come strait of when i called them but since i started training they don't wont to fly anymore
