KINGDOM R.P.A. LIBERATED AT WITTON CASTLE AT 07-10 NO WIND AT RACEPOINT

as for old birds try and train them to go to there boxs it is very easy then to basket once they go there you just lock the box till your ready to lift them and its very simple then you are still able to inspect them to see if there are o.k. to go to the race ,i always inspect my pigeons before they go ,they might have broken a flight or two you don,t know till you handle them , and make sure everything is o.k. with them , my own opinion its important you check before you send ,you don,t want to turn up at your club with some of your pigeons with tail feathers or flights missing scrawny bodies or bruises from hitting wires i think its of paramount importance if you want to give the pigeon its benefits as well maybe i,m old fashioned but thats the way i do it , sorry james its a long story mate but its important all the best

well ray in that case who ever was responsible ,made a wise choice of the birds going on a thursday night , he obviously has made the birds come 1st and foremost ,above anything else, a great decision
-
i think it could be a good idea ray , thinking about the time it would take your transporter to get there , maybe would not leave enough time for resting them before there liberated , its good bit to drive too newton abbott and try and get an early lib the next morning , time plays a big part in a lot, trying to keep them all happy in the combine now that takes a lot

i,m posting on my behalf as it was they who were at me , my opinion was passed as a member not anything else , and like you it worried me also they werethinking differently about the n.f.c. and if you read my post again you will find that the whole national or not post was getting taken out of context completely by other members on site on my part i was defending myself and the snrpc , but you will hear no more from me johno as i noticed you maybe looked on ,but you never dug your heels in to defend your national club at anytime the balls were getting flung around
-
archie the s.n.r.p.c. is not governed by any english outfit ,be it the n.f.c. bicc ,bbc, or even itv the scottish national racing pigeon club is solely independent to anybody else , THE SAINTES RACE is a one off at this moment in time , and as i,ve stated which you have failed to realise is we are getting transported with the n.f.c.for one race and one race only nothing to do with anyone else , and to do that we had to join , what the hell is wrong with that, does it annoy you all that the snrpc is forward thinking , and they have sought out away to get extreme distance racing for its members , i think so , and further more i could see a big picture of some others having diffculty accepting the fact that they are on the up and the future looks really bright for the S.N.R.P.C. CHEERS AND I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A NICE WEEK-END BECAUSE I WILL I,M GETTING TO F--- OUT OF HERE FOR THE WEEK-END

i,m sorry mylittle friend there was no intent ment ,i was thinking along the same lines as you in the fact that your right the confederation what ch pied said should be looking to be running a race along the the same lines as they do in the continent , and they cry it a international race from i think its barcaelona(rose ) would be able to give you more detail on that she helps out at these events and it could be for the whole of the british isles but hey what about the weather , o.k. it could be lovely down south , but persisting of rain right from east to west and in to ireland and wales and north as far as you go , could be tried ,in the continent its flatter and all these countries lie on each others doorstep but yo could be right little man worth a shot nothing ventured nothing gained
-
I THINK YOU HAVE GOT A LITTLE MIXED UP HERE DOVEY MY LITTLE FRIEND NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE OTHER NATIONS JOINING DID THEY OR DID I MISS SOMETHING HERE , ONE THING THE BIRDS FROM SCOTLAND ARE BEING TRANSPORTED BY THE N.F.C. TO SAINTES THE LIBERATION WILL BE THE SAME TIME, WE WILL IN SCOTLAND BE FLYING TO A SECTION WHICH HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE TO US CALLED SECT M WE CAN THEN TAKE IT FROM THERE , IF SOMEONE TIMES A PIGEON IN SECT M THE BONUS WE ARE LOOKING FOR ,CAN IT MAKE IT HIGH UP IN THE N.F.C. RESULT AND CAN THE REST OF THE PIGEONS MAKE IT HOME THATS ALL WE ASK AND WHAT A BONUS FOR EVERY FANCIER THAT TOOK PART AND MAYBE WE CAN TRY AGAIN THE FOLLOWING YEAR , AND I CAN,T SEE ANYTHING TO STOP US EXCEPT RED TAPE ,
-
you know something , ithought this topic was kinda straight forward but its getting more and more hilarious every moment the longer it goes on , stevie join the one club of the future my friend the s.n.r.p.c.
-
surely as i have just stated the welfare of the birds will come 1st and foremost whether you have east, west, north or south winds rain or shine they will look after the birds as there own
-
well stevie looking at my yearbook from the s.n.r.p.c. i don,t see any marking stations down for beith or kilmarnock there is one for les/gow but not for the other two so i would go back to the chap you got your information from and tell him to shoveit
-
i take the train somedays andy its a plodder and thank you for your comments the wee man is well up for it
-
your statement stevie , iwould think the welfare of the pigeons ,would come 1st and foremost regarding the weather were it to be east or west winds , and for the 1st partof your statement i think its the other way round its the fancier taking the oppurtunity to see that an organisation , who has put out a programme to suit the fancers needs is willing to accomodate them and support them ,you must remember our organisation is new and always ready to sit and listen to what the fanciers require , but i,m led to believe and this is from a member in your area , we have been getting a lot of requests for memberships from your area, and your right stevie you are entitled to your thoughts look forward to your visit when your in fife don,t dissappoint me you know your welcome anytime

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPURTUNITY TO THANK THE GENTLEMEN WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN AND GIVE US SUCH AN INCENTIVE TO FLY OUR PIGEONS IN A EXTREME DISTANCE RACE , THANK YOU GENTS YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
-
yes archie its the n.f.c. who are running the saintes race and they have invited the s.n.r.p.c. along because we opened up to the whole of scotland (the nation of scotland because we are a nation ) to anyone irrespective off where the live in the country then they made a section for us to SECT M so we can compete , against everyone in the n.f.c. then they have been most kind and given us a marking station , this was all done because we could,nt go down the road with a small team of birds, but thats what the members wanted and we have been given this oppurtunity , to go for a long distance race which was out of our reach on our own ,and the members have responded by given us a fair indication that they are supporting us whole heartedly , and more so from members who seem to be joining from your organisation , the s.n.f.c. and the s.h.u i don,t see this causing any friction , we are giving a service to the fancier and if they take it good and well , they don,t have to all we ask is , they join the three organisations the n.f.c. the r/.p.r.a.and the s.n.r.p.c. and its up to thereselves if they choose to go down that line the ball is in there court my friend , and we are not going to be standing in anyones way the best of luck to everyone who enters this marathon in to scotland
-
this is a medpet product tel 01915670120 and ask for kevin
-
I would assume then Merlin that Scotland being a Nation , we will qualify under your estimation ,and although theres two Nationals in Scotland it was only politics that divided the Nation , or there would just be one. (SCOTLAND will always be a NATION )
-
all snrpc members are members of the r.p.r.a. through the cumbria region , and most have joined the n.f.c. to be able to fly in the saintes race , some have even joined the r.p.r.a. from the other national here in scotland ,to race in the saintes race so i see this as a success , i hope so, the members have put up quite a bit of money for this race
