hi a good way to tell if it's paratyphoid is if the birds look like they are drunk because it effects the nerves also if the dropings are dark green very watery and smell a little like fish make sure you isolate all infected birds and disenfect loft and drinkers daily also give probiotics in the water this may help

does any one here fly in the Nottingham area???

what size is the loft i just got permission to put up a 24ft by 8ft loft on my back garden by the nott's council and they had no problem with that

hi all i have not been in the sport all that long around 5 years now i started when i was 16 there are 2 people who fly near me and they dont win many prizes in racing they keep telling me it's because we are off line where we race from i dont really understand this can you be off line with racing we fly from nottingham in the nott's and derby border fed the nearist member of our club lives around 3 miles away and he wins a lot of race's and they say it's because he is (on line) where he flys from so how does the online off line thing work?

yes there is a small shed there that use to be my stock loft do i just let the birds out or do i need to do some thing before that i really have no clue what to do or how to do it

hi all i hope you can help me i have just moved my lofts from the location i have had for 5 years to a new location at the back of my house around 4 miles away from the original location i need to know how to get my birds to fly back to this new location and not to the old location and how to stop them from going back there

i move my young birds when they are fully featherd under the wings but make sure you see them eating and dip there beak in the water drinker so they know where it is and keep an eye on them for a few days if you have a few hens that you have finished breeding with put them in with them for a few days if you like to bring them on a little

im new here but i give my yb's as much as they want while they are still young after that i take away the water while they eat then replace it
