Even if amber got the cost of rearing them back, and knew where they ended up at least he'd know they were'nt going to get passed from pillar to post like a lot of lurchers, sound home would be the most important thing to me, or if money is'nt an issue come to a deal with any potential buyer to maybe swap for some doos etc, just a couple of ideas.t

If things are running better now and we're not in debt, why continue with the £1;50 charge ? why not reduce it or abolish it all together ?
-
To be hnest i don't think amber done himself any favours by putting them up at £175 to start with and the only bid , who we don't know who it's from is still standing at £25, you'd be better trying to give them away to good homes that you can check up on and see how they come on , no offence jmo, the longer you keep them the more money they are going to cost you and also the older a pup the harder to sell ,people start asking why themselves why they have,nt already been shifted.

Well put Rab

Good to see a couple of satisfied customers that bought birds from stuart, just spoke to Gangster and i know he's delighted the dark grizzle, and i believe not at stupid prices either.

Amber the man you know that has the six month old pup that had killed 34 hares at that age is talking through his *expletive removed* and insulting other dogmens intelligence, impossible , i don't care what anybody says no six month old dog has killed 34 hares, keep on putting up sh** like that and you'll be paying people to take your pups off your hands, dogmen are,nt stupid .....well at least not the ones that said they say the dog kill 34 hares at that age, they need certified. : : :

Still got family live in a nice part of ickenham, nice part of the world ,especially there bit.
-
It's good to know the brain cells are,nt completly gone, i have'nt lived in ruislip for nearly 14 years and it still came back to me as before i had pigeons my mate used to go there for all his feeds etc.
-
What happened to him wings ?
-
A rare type of owl...a speckled vodka drinking one .
-
I thought it was a whippet you were after Coxy ?
-
I'm sure there used to be a shop in hayes that done pigeon food, should only be about ten minutes in the car from you mate.
-
Great all round dogs whether you want them for out mooching about ;D or just as a good companion, i'd recommend a lurcher to anybody over many other breeds of dogs that are about.
-
I think they've been at or near the top for a long time now, they seem to be a strain that has stood the test of time.
-
Go to www.earthdogrunning dog.com, and you will both find what your looking for, whippet x border collies you'll find most weeks in the countryman's weekly , just ask your newsagent and they'll order it in for you, pups always available and a good few whippet breeders advertise in there also.
-
ray, you'll have your hands full when the *expletive removed* comes into season will you not, or have you made plans for that already

shadow , good ones from working lines are worth the money, but they have to be as i say from proven working stock, not knocking amber but i could get a pup from my mate if they are not already gone that is that both parents take anything in britain that is about and it'd only cost me fifty or sixty quid max, and would be guaranteed to work, no if's or buts, i hope you get rid of them amber but think you'll struggle at that price mate all the best with them anyway.
-
Why not as greengrass says £85 for example and then a fiver or tenner for every bird you send over a certain amount.
-
I've a seven month old *expletive removed* here tony, great dogs but a right handful, i have'nt put one bit of work into her regarding guarding etc, but what a dog, calm as you like till someone calls the doorbell ar god forbid walks in unannanounced, talk about silent assassins, great with the kids, calm as you'd want with them. What lines are the pups mate and do you have any photos ?
-
Congratulations Wings and Mrs Wings, how many is that you've got now, you'll certainly have no shortage of helpers for the lofts anyway, good stuff mate i bet your both well chuffed , hope mum and baby are both well and you don't wet the babies head too much tonight

JW, Cage won't do him any harm mate, if your vet does,nt hire them out try your local boarding kennels they are sure to have one, don't be reluctant about it he'll soon learn.
-
I house trained my bully by having her in a cage from the word go, easiest dog i've ever had too house train, they don't like standing in their own soiled patch at all, you can get the cages on e-bay cheap enough, great for when you've got to go out and they are still at the chewing stage etc. hope this helps.
