Just noticed quite a number of hotels advertising in the pigeon mags, still quite a few near the winter gardens, which are usually all snapped up by now. Also busses advertising they still have many seats and willing to go out their way from normal to accomodate pick ups. Does this mean less fanciers than before, and will this have an effect on prices of birds at auctions? :-/

What makes you think that there will be unrest? I think you will find, that it is those who will not be at Blackpool, are the ones who will steer the sh**e, I am sure all those who attend will act as adults are expected to do. I for one will be in attendance, and look forward to meeting fanciers from all over, and other sites.
