No need to simplify it for me pal. I have studied more national results than you have had hot dinners. Anyone with half a brain would know the first two came up the west and the early B and C birds came up the East. As Davie says the leaders don't get dragged off line

What about the birds in Duns, Tranent and St Andrews etc. Did they get "dragged" up the west too.
