if your going to use the chicken pellets try and get the rearers they are the best what i do is fill all pots with pellets only and leave a hopper on floor filled with pellets when i come home at night i hand feed a mixture but beware they tend to drink more water when useing pellets so i put an extra drinker in you will rear cracking big y/bs have done it this way for years

pity but dont think there is many kicking about now
