just feeding them more water than food to fill them up , i give them protein powder in water with yoghurt , and you can also increase the pulses in the diet

havent seen any great numbers of song birds for well over 4 years , cant rember seeing a blue tit for even longer , nor wren , mistletoe thrush , or finches , we feed the birds regulary one bad winter isnt enough to cover up such great losses in one year

could be many factors for chicks dying on nest , without getting the full picture hard to get anything concrete , heres a few questions , when were chicks alive last ?, when did you see them dead ?, have you checked for red mite in the nest ? are you using any artifical lighting ?
