i dont think at this present time they fly from thruso and lerwick (probably wrong) they did back in 90s as i say the north road nationals are not now what they once were jmo even perth to southern Ireland is a nice fly but i believe they were the hardest of routes

the birds racing from from Perth thurso etc in Scotland are tougher birds i think racing into mostly a south west went down in to south east and south west of Ireland although the major competition in Ireland is defiantly on south road so defiantly harder to win a national on south road from france etc due to the level of competition amount of flyers amount of birds and so on
