  1. Do you still have to receive an activation code to open your account - reason for asking one of our club members registered but cannot access certain forums

Maybe one of the mods could explain

    ps nothing in his emails

  2. I have topped the fed Flying into Dumbarton but the bird still came round the quarry if the birds hugged the K/Hills all the way to the Haldane it may well look as if they had come over the hill.Early this year I has a bird in belonging a Fife fancier of great repute numerous national wins and also another bird from a fancier in Dunfermline he came down and picked up both birds and his words were " How the  can you fly birds into this area if it were me I would chuck first " and that is no lie.

  3. When I raced before in Dumbarton I was in the position to watch the Dumbarton and Alexandria birds come round Dumbuck Quarry If Stevie had birds that came over the hill why do they still not fly that route and he would be the winner every week  and we would all be desperate to find the secret Anyone of the old fliers that I know have never seen birds come over the hill I have taken my bird to milton up towards Overtoun house and you can see down the valley and guess what they all headed South towards the Clyde down to  Dumbarton then up the Valley not as bad as Big Wullie his ended up in Cheshire (from Milton) not the glasgow Milton. Jonesy's father and uncles who flew as Jones Bros will give you a better idea as they flew for a good no of years in Alexandria my late mate Hammy Connolly used to say if they could get these birds to come over the hill they would have a winner and his Father old Tommy Connolly never had them over the hill nor did Donny Archibald as his birds would have came back up the valley unless they had overshot. Now that Dumbarton are applying maybe the boost of nos will make a difference maybe not but IMO they are not all bad birds or fliers
