yeboah Posted June 27, 2018 Report Posted June 27, 2018 Have been sitting at night with all the birds out together including my 20 youngsters Put them in back of 8 The hen falcon has came into the town nearly bang on 7-30 these last three nights This is a very large female she has one thing on her mind to circle high over the town without moving her wings then after 2-3 quick wing beats go into a stoop at over 100 miles per hour and level out to take her kill The young will be very close to joining her ,the ease at which she operates is frightening she has no rival This is by far the most dangerous time of the year for birds working through she operates very early morning and dusk which is her favourite due to lower temperatures Problem is thats only one not the other 16 nests nearby Her nest is 3 mls to the south and better gaurded than faslane
Delboy Posted June 27, 2018 Report Posted June 27, 2018 Breed a couple extra Mick and feed her, poor wee thing
