do that pair often throw red pieds , has loking at pedigrees , non of parents have any red in them , think another cock may heve been busy here

well they were in a single flight togeter and how do you know the kirkpatrick farther if not a red cheq pied. With kirkpatricks you never know what your going to get.

hi kev, looking at the sire,s pedigree it states off a dark grizzle , and a cheq pied ,

the sire is a cheq pied ,, yes there are reds back in the pedigree , but that makes no differense . there are colour charts somwhere explaining what colours you can get out of certain pairs even the sex on some of them ,

i may be wrong , if i am please accept my appolgies, iwas always lead to believe ,to breed a red at least one parent had to be red or mealy

I dont mean to be rude but i know from experience you are wrong, if any colour is in the lineage you may have the colour come out in youngbird,

kev is this bird been flown out or is it been behind close doors as after another kirky to add to my yb's if it hasnt been flown out i snap your hand off and i get the money in the post to you first thing tomorrow all the best.

theres a colour chart on doos on the board site think this is a definate possibility dont need a parent to be red or mealie i also know this from experience :)
