Good evening,

 

We have a stray pigeon in our care; SU17 L743. We are not fanciers and hoping your site can put me in touch with the owner. It wont let me post as a guest or register.

 

We are currently in Lochgoilhead on our jollies and I noticed this pigeon was being knocked about by a dog on the Loch shore earlier today but didn’t fly up to safety. I climbed down and picked him up (give the oblivious dog owner a piece of my mind) and checked him for injuries. He seems ok to me, just clearly very tired. I’ve checked his wings and no stamps evident. He also has a plain dark green ring on his other leg. Anyway this beauty is fast asleep safely in the spare bathroom of our holiday cottage with some water and food.
