red1chq3 Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 I started bid at £100 because they are worth it and a lot more, don't you think??, or should i have started them at£10 and ended up giving them away. These 3 birds are stuffed full of winning lines and not 3 or 4 generations away, they are top quality birds who will repay the new owner over and over, regards.
BLACK W F Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 best of luck with your sale but i think you must agree dont look like you going to get any buyers on here so you either drop your price or keep them
red1chq3 Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 In that case I will take £350 for the 3, and that has to be my last offer, regards.
dinraiser Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 no bids tells its own story Why don't you keep your nose out. If you want them bid, if not leave it alone. Why do you have to disrupt the man's sale?
BLACK W F Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 i am not disrupting nothing pal just stating my opinion and if i wanted them would buy but not for me but maybe you should buy as your nose is right in
Guest Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 yes, why do you ask? because i was asked to ask as the ring numbers or peds have not been put up for the nest pair 8) thanks.
red1chq3 Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Some info on "AMERICAN ACE" Is it in the breeding. Is it in the breeding, are pigeons bred for specialist competition or could it be the luck of the draw. We have followed the pigeons that originate from Syndicate lofts and they have done extremely well in the one-loft races. This has carried on with the pigeon of Steve Williams which is bred from a full brother to the "American Ace" winner of the Ace bird award 2003 winning the car and £5500.The dam of "455" is bred from "Golden Gaby" paired to a daughter of Flor Engles "231". " Golden Gaby" won 1st National NPO Orleans against 12875 birds winning by half an hour from 606km. He also won 2nd Arras 6124b, 3rd Nijvel 3553b, 6th Arras 14674b, 14th Perrone 2975b, 20th Nijvel 16652b, etc. WHU05D11421 entered by the PDS Syndicate (Peter,Doug,Steve) was bred from a grandson of "Topo" and a hen through the Vandenabeele "Sissi" and "Wittenbuik" bloodline. These are the lines that are presently working away for the Ace Pigeon of 2005. So the current leader is based on the lines of the 2003 winner, is it coincidence or in the breeding. It is also a fact that one-loft winners don’t only breed one-loft winners but also Classic winners. A prime example would be Mr & Mrs Brian Wall’s good hen is bred from a Syndicate Lofts cock that Derek Nicholls selected for Brian as a likely breeder of one-loft race birds that was lot 105 in the Europa classic auction of 2003. Brian wanted the pigeon to pair to a grand daughter of the world famous “Toppo†of Mike Ganus in the USA. This was the same sale in which the American Ace was top priced bird bought back by the Fox-Ganus team for £4750. The pairing of that Brian had bred them their Classic winner that went on to win 1st section in the NFC Fougeres race.
red1chq3 Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 because i was asked to ask as the ring numbers or peds have not been put up for the nest pair 8) thanks. No Probs, the pair were bred in NI, as i have said the father is "MANEATER" a dutch rung son of "KANABAAL"
Guest Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Thanks for that,i know Brian wall very weell he gave me an egg out of that good pair, and what a dream of a hen she is .
