Hi peeps now as I'm a beginner I'm still frustrated how to tell the difference between cock and hen, I know the hen lays the egg lol but when they not breeding. When they are held in your hand for basketing or etc how do you tell? Their eyes or shape or feet. My friend Andy from Fraserburgh says it's easy just by looking at them, I find it confusing but if anyone can shed light also the young pigeons too.

Thanks
