Their was a formula for the amount of space a single pigeon requires and if memory serves me correctly it is 1 cubic yard per bird. Should that be the case a 6x4x6ft high should allow you 5 birds in comfort.

As for birds to space, Peter may recall one as such. Only one I ever saw was a government one (Canadian) and it was 1 square foot per pigeon. Which of course would still be the ruling.

Don't know of any D.A.F.R.A. one though. Would wager be much the same though.

True Peter, and have, do and would again. In fact I will have 40 or just over in such again this y/b season.
