On reading the pine Martin post we deal a wee bit lucky just at the end of summer we found a dead grey / blue mink in our yard don't know how long it had been there before it died but when you think about it , it could have been devastating.

Had one that got into my loft and killed 36 of my pigeons a long time ago and will never forget that feeling,i put one of the dead birds in a trap and got it, when the pellet went into it the last thing it done was to sink its teeth into the dead bird,it was just over 2 feet long from nose to tail, never had grills at bottom of loft since then and when I did they were covered with wire but that's where it got in,lesson learned for me anyway.
