I'm moving my birds to a new coop tomorrow,same garden just a bigger coop.I will rehome them again for a few weaks.My concern is I have a 3 weak old chick will the parents stop feeding it If I move them all to the new coop.

I'm moving my birds to a new coop tomorrow,same garden just a bigger coop.I will rehome them again for a few weaks.My concern is I have a 3 weak old chick will the parents stop feeding it If I move them all to the new coop.

The parents will most likely still feed the Yb even if its on the loft floor after the move. A lot of fanciers will wean their Ybs over at 18-24 days old and believe they thrive better. :)

no it will be fine m8 sit the youngsters on the floor the sire and dam will find them and feed them should almost be picking by themselves anyway at 3 weeks old
