Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Last night had young birds out for first time, there were about a dozen or so out and a few went back in leaving 8 on the loft roof above the trap, turned round for a minute and could not believe my eyes when I saw the male sparrowhawk landing about 3 feet away from them and it was on a wooden strap where we hang some wind spinners ,4 young birds took off and the other 4 did not move and neither did the hawk so that is where we decide who was the lucky one and who was the loser. [ I have 1 youngster to come in but it is flying about so I am happy with that]
