Blood stains on egg shells occur most frequently with young birds,or yearlings though it can happen with any age bird, the shell is stained when small blood vessels that line the oviduct rupture when an egg passes through no worry as a healthy pigeon will heal very quickly.
walterboswell59 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 have also found this can happen when there is a rough part on the shell but as the guys say nothing to worry about sparko glad to hear there laying m8
