Well why dont u all come back and get rid of them if thats what you all think we elected them and we can oust them u not think ,pesonally i aint got anything against them

good sammy its the members which put them in, the majority, so all those who dont like the shu because of the officials just dont like democracy or to put it right dont like not getting what they want its as simple as that, there is no official of any organisation in place because THEY say i'm taking the job, and what i dont understand is those who run the shu down and are also members of it, if they dont like it get out, but ha they dont do they  ;D ;D ;D ;D they know whats best ;)

i do not see where you are coming from bruno. if you would like me to post on topics i do not understand or have any interest in  i do not have the same needs as yourself in that i do not need to involve myself in every topic. i involve myself in areas where i feel the general pigeon world is not in a position to be aware of what is going on. i attempt to stick to fact and ask questions based on factual events or happenings. if this is uncomfortable for some people then so be it. you attempt to demonise and portray me as some kind of avenging angel when all i do is pose questions. anything that i post that is wrong is quite easily counterbalanced by an opposing view or post based on facts. i see this forum as a place where individuals can ask questions freely and openly no matter how diificult they appear to be. this has been the system in our country for a long time. making people aware of a situation i see as a public duty. not an attempt at disruption. you have puit yourself in a ridiculous position where you involve yourself in a debate and then when things are not going as you wish you pull the plug. you do this based on some ill conceived and contrived logic that you are somehow superior and more qualified to direct or close the topics being discussed by board members. the last time i experienced anything like this was with a football when i was 10 year old. when the owner of the ball was on the loosing side the ball had to go home with him early as he needed to go for his tea. you appear to think you have an all seeing all understanding capability. please take a step back and search deeply for any semblance of humility and modesty that may still reside within your person. you seem to have reached a stage where their is no sustenance to any point you attempt to make. i will put too you that in all walks of life anyone who is involved in the day to day affairs of any organisation has no place in situation where a grievance arises. e.g appeal committe pigeon sport. you seem to think you are above this well tested system. i do not understand why.

Fifer dont go on about democracy as the shu made perfectly clear they are not interested it such things when they turned down a 400 + members petion for a meeting and then closed a meeting and RAN off the stage and out the back door in Glasgow. Because the RPRA does have a proper procedure and caries it out to the letter that dosent suit the shu who are used to just doing things that suit there own ends and to hell with what is right that must come as a surprise to the lik,s of you it did me at first ! iam concerned that you are trying to come across as mister nice guy in all this so i will ask you 2 questions one of which i have asked before but you went silent 1. did you run to the front of the stage at an extra ord agm when Benny was in the chair with a lawyers letter ? 2. DID YOU AT YOUR CLUB SPECIAL MEETING ABOUT THE FED FEES GOING UP VOTE FOR A MOVE TO THE KINGDOM/RPRA ? if you have nothing to hide you will ans. thease questions after all thats democracy well at least the 2nd ques i dont believe that their is any place in the pigeon sport for lawyers that was something started by a certain man who i will refrain from mentioning and there is nothing wrong with sticking up for your union but dont hide behind a neutral stand! so will we get the silent treatment again?

"Er, wrong yet again; Nothing at all to do with the way you put it 'belief' " - Bruno

think your even "baffling" yourself now Bruno lad it was you who mentioned "beliefs" not "me", but hey if the cap fits.

You say I am wrong to suggest that an individual member of the shu has the right to be a member of the RPRA and that is up to other members to decide using the "voting system in place" Let me ask you this then if somebody put forward to the SHU AGM a new rule that members of the SHU were no longer allowed to be muslims say and the motion carried would that be ok.

With respect, you continually mix issues to the point that the questions you pose are just absurd. I've broken your quote into two parts because they require two answers.

You say I am wrong to suggest that an individual member of the shu has the right to be a member of the RPRA and that is up to other members to decide using the "voting system in place" .

Forget about RPRA and SHU etc;

Do you honestly believe that the Right of Association gives you the absolute right to become a member of for example the British Medical Association, St Andrews Golf Club, a sports invitation club, your Parent Teacher Association,  etc and no one can stop you? These Organisations have constitutions which govern membership of them.

A pigeon club on receiving an application looks for members to move and second acceptance. That is 'a voting system' and comes from constitution.

Let me ask you this then if somebody put forward to the SHU AGM a new rule that members of the SHU were no longer allowed to be muslims say and the motion carried would that be ok.

It would not even get tabled. The President could not accept such a motion, it breaks the Race Relations Act, and attempts to discriminating against membership because of religion, ethnic group or race.

you are the one who is being absurd Bruno either that deliberately obtuse I am talking about existing members of an organistion who would be targeted by rules to exclude them from that organistion because they are also members of another legitimate organisation. Would that be discrimination Bruno or would that be ok really interested to know what you think about that.

One other thing Bruno I know you think you are pure dead brilliant and the rest of us need to be protected from ourselves(by you obviously) but if you seriously think the vast majority of the people reading your posts can't see through you, you are kidding youself on!

so you are happy to accept debt suspended members does this happen nehu/rpra rpra/whu nipa/ihu i think not   its a bad day when a man in a dress is accepted to the rpra    i fully support the shu line on this matter as you cant have any tom dick and harry not paying there way    as it stands we can all do it and still fly doos   you pay your way or you dont fly

in answer to ur question 1/ the way u are wording it makes it look like i was going to give the chairman a lawyers letter, and if u were at the meeting then why ask, question 2, our club did not have a special meeting about the fees going up, and anyway what goes on at our club meeting is for the members, u can always tell when u hit on a hurting subject when u get asked questions that is already known, to the person asking, end of subject.

What has this got to do with guys who are members of the Shu and members of the RPRA and have been for 10 or 20 or sometimes 30 years or more, especially some of the fanciers who are interested in show birds are you going to penalise them because you have suddenly decided they have been terribly bad people for the last 30 years.

I presume you will be banning people who go to Blackpool in January after all its the RPRA'S SHOW OF THE YEAR. You guys won't want to join us down there will you.

What I find incredible is the guys posting this stuff don't realise how offensive they are being to fellow doomen in other parts of the UK. Find it all a bit embarrassing to be frank.

No offence intended Me, what I actually said was you mixing the issues led  to an absurd question, and not an absurd Me as you are inferring.

There are already cases of existing members of organisations deciding against dual membership .... of clubs and feds in Scotland ...  from simple duplication into .... to actual membership of.

For their reasons, you'd be best asking them, for no matter what I say you'll probably disagree anyway.

Your last piece was unnecessary. Said before, your resorting to personal insult is usually a sign that your info is wrong ... again. So please don't bother responding, I've nothing further to add and better things to do with my time.

i agree with that providing the proper procedures are carried out we know they clearly were not in all the cases do you know that one of thease suspended members died before any of this started and they just lumped them all in together and never told any of thease members that they were suspended and some of the rosyth members paid before it as well and they susp.the whole club so they paid and are still susp. does that sound fair to you?so if the shu wont stick to its own rules why do they expectother uunions to up hold there dodgy suspenions?

on which particular motion do you mean fifer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be serious for a minute it is not my intention to cause anyone any discomfort if you don't want to reveal the way you voted on certain issues thats fine I respect that point of view I'll leave it there Fifer. All the best fifer lad!
