years ago I knocked a member out who was bullying an older member, I just dont have many problems anymore

we were both put on 1 year probation

Why?  Nobody has mentioned any club and all that was asked by JakJak was for advice and opinions which he's duly got, clearly he feels he can't ask his clubmates or maybe even committee or perhaps doesn't want to burden them?  Who knows but he certainly isn't doing any harm here.   :-/  

 

I only say this because if the parties concerned read about this chap seeking advise for forum members about what to do about there incedent I feel they would not exactly be to happy about it nor i sure would there RPRA region, OR THE rpra COME TO THAT!!

Adam this should be kept in your club  you never said weather it happened in your club house or not  if out side nothing you can do about it

I feel this public fourm is not the place to discuss this issue. you need to be carful about discussion club busnisses otuside of the club and committee level, this is an issue that should be delt with at committee level

 

it is a forum for discussing ALL pigeon related topics

My view is that these quarrels are always best sorted out at club level. The RPRA will only get involved if the occurrance happened during convened RPRA business ie. Basketing, clocks, loading or a convened meeting. Anytime outside this is presumed to be a civil matter. I have always found that a warning letter to both parties from the club officials read in the cold light of day usually does the trick. We don't attend pigeon clubs to have to suffer muppets giving it large..........

sounds to me that they need to grow up there is not enough people in the game to be arguing, sounds like they are two foolish people.

I dont think this is the place to sort out this problem, the club committee should be the ones to deal with it and bring the 2 together and sort it out, as said reading some of the posts it is not going to go anywhere on the forum so will close it just now and leave on for a while to let you see the reason,
