Guest bigda Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Should have went to Maidstone with the nat SHOULD NOT HAVE PUT THE BIRDS AT RISK CHASING AFTER THE NAT, FOR HOURS ON THE WING, THE NAT IS STILL GOING, YET WE ARE AT A LOSS WITH AND WE DID NOT BUY TRUCKS TO SIT IDLE. need to get this right for next year or we become the nat fed, or the lanarkshire fed IMO

Guest bigda Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Makes sense to go with nat the fed have lost money this week with guys splitting teams, it's only a few races! So why just Ypres ? YES AGREE but the birds are getting it hard and we need to get a race program that helps us. all that we have now is yearlings, and they need to be protected for a few years to give us birdage to complete the race programs a think we should put a ban on yealings from entering races over the 200 mile for a few years might take 4 years to make the birdage healthy we are also in a few weeks have to try and safe guard the next years race entrants in the young bird races, get this wrong and we are up the creek next year and that is the sad fact . can you imagin that we have only 1,200 old birds left that we are trying to go next year with to all races we are depending on the yearlings from this year to let us have races and as i say get them lossed we will have nothing left, all feds are in the same place each year and they need to take stock of whats happning Edited June 21, 2014 by bigda

Guest bigda Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 when does the clocks get done for lanarkshire fed 12 at uddingston if you went there
Guest bigda Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 i believe we should have a club count, of birds to see that we have left, most of these will be the usual race dodgers, and the ones that have been hawked, if it is correct we have about 1,200 old birds left for next year and the 60 odd nat member that have there 4 birds left for there gold cup, giving us a total of about 1,440 birds out of 8,200 yet these same pilgrims are expected to be then sent to cover all races in the fed and have to bust a gut as yearlings just to make up the numbers , if they cant be saved this year as for any bad race for the young birds at all, we will not be needing 2 trucks, if the nat mined in the fed push for more hours on the wing we are dead, and will not recover so hope you take this on board if we have bad young bird racing we are going to be racing about 3,000- 5,000 birds only a bad one like the scottscorner we had a few years ago. then its a loss all round and game set and match
Guest chad3646 Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 Wonderful access to water on your transporter Also great to see birds being put first with 15 per basketWould be good to see other Feds and national following your leadHow many birds could your transporter take to a national with 15 per basket Seems crazy Cumbria solway and Lanarkshire all going it alone Good luck with your race well that would not be hard to count
