Got a small team of darkness youngsters all February hatched ( same age )

Darkened for 16 hrs

Usually struggle to get them flying early on ,but this lot have raced the sky,s from when they got out

Flying for up to 2 hrs

Through the moult

Must they still be darkened to longest Day ?

a would say keep them on what you are doing 2 hours flying is good going, then in a week increace the day light by 10 min per day, up to the longest day. 70 min per week

If u want the majority in the right condition for the big races u must keep them on for at least another two weeks.

Hi Mike ours same age we always take them off 1 week before longest day
