just wondering are pigeons ok to walk on 1" square wire mesh? i was going to use it in the bottom of the aviary... is it ok, or abit to big?

brilliant, i will use that then! didnt want to use wood as the floor in the outside part as it might get wet from rain, thought mesh would be cleaner!

stu3y can vermin get into the loft via the one inch mesh, mice for example

I keep rollers and I use 2inch mesh most of roller lads use the same inch will clog up after a while believe it or not I have wire 12inches above floor in kitbox and front door in corridoor to clean out some use sliding trays I can also lift grille up prop it up and shovel muck straight in a bag mice near to be kept clear at all times anyway I have bait stations always set and multicatch traps

no, its a raised aviary, and then there is doors in to the loft from aviary, should be almost mouse proof i think!

will be fine like that had it in my aviary for years had a board under to catch dropping srcaped off once a week.
