Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Just had one of our customers at the door with one of our birds from today's race,he had watched just about to go in to the trap when a hawk of some kind knocked it right off the landing board in to the car park and his wife hit it with a bucket and the hawk flew off and landed on the electric fence and Fred said it really jumped but by then a blinking crow was on the back of the bird pecking it and his wife chased that off with a brush,it is okay just a bit bloody and muddy but she is one lucky bird but thanks to the couple for helping it and it is not the first time Fred has chased hawks off our young birds, thanks Fred and Heather
peter2010 Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Not half a lucky bird well done too them for helping your bird it wouldn't do the pigeon game any harm if more of the public actually saw these attacks happening to our birds and maybe it would sway peoples opinions on birds of prey here's hoping
