WHAT WITH ALL THE WINDS AND RUBBISH WEATHER THOUGHT ID BUILD A BOX FOR THE YBS SEE GO IN SO THEY CAN HAVE A GOOD LOOK AROUND

 

Nice, what did you use on the base for the birds to stand on? Mesh or solid :-/

job well done jason finest thing in the world so the young ones can se out and se the surroundings,sputnicks are  worth there weight in gold to they attract youngsters like a bear to a honeypot good look.

If you do, a bit of friendly advise etc, which could help you ????. Try & get some old steel bed frames 6ft x 3ft sort of thing, they make a terrific base for this sort of thing. I have them on all my lofts etc & the roofs are 4ft x4ft commerical clear windows on the top etc (Junk yard) thou I got mine through work etc "Free"  ;D ;D ;D & the birds just love lying in the sun sunbathing all day most of the time.

I bought one of those underbed storage boxes as a bath for in the sputnik- it's ideal....sides not too deep and fits all the boys in no problem!!

I have got different baths and have put drain plugs in them so is can drain the water away easily from where they are situated, it has to be small enough to fit inside the box :)

looks very effective   good job......... Personally I would have  prefered the roof to be meshed as well.... but that is not in anyway a critisism;)
