pjc Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 looking nice, if you've only had them recently looks like you've settled them without problems.
Guest Owen Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 I have never tried Coormans but I bought a Grizzle cock from Van de Maelen. I tried him with five differant hens but he proved to be useless as a breeder. The YBs either flew away before they went into the basket or were lost after a couple of races. One of them survived until this year because he had an injury to his wing last year, early on. I trained him and he flew the last come back race where he was tenth. This year he was trained and treated like the rest of the widow cocks. He had two races and was gone. I binned the others last year. Of course I could have had a bad one.
Guest Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 NOT SURE ON DISTANCES, BUT THE BIRD THAT WON THE CLUB AND FED POSITION WAS RACED BY A TOP PIGEON FLYER COLIN LLOYD OF HEDNESFORD
