My son (ryan) and his girlfriend (claire) are raising funds for Alzheimer's Scotland, by doing the "RUST TO ROME". they will be doing a 4500 mile round trip in their ford ka that cost them £40.00. As long as the car was under £500, they can enter, so they are well in lol. They left this morning at 7.30am in fancy dress which was super mario and luigi, and will take 3 weeks to complete. They are required to clock in at strategic places arranged by the organisers. well thats the convoy in Nottingham for the night.

 

 

they seem to be having a good time.

well they have been through dover

monaco

 

italy

 

they should be hitiing Rome at some point today. Team ka, has had no real great problems to date, as have the rest of them. The ka had a bill of a smell, but no problem found, and yesterday around the hairpins, the handbreak gave in. They are all having a great time and experience, all for good causes.
